Doitsu Kohaku |
Doitsu refers to a scaleless form of koi with thick, leathery skin. The smoothness of the skin creates clean, defined edges (Kiwa) in the color pattern, giving the fish a more refined appearance. The colors of Doitsu koi also tend to be brighter and more refined. Pictured here is an amazing pair of Doitsu Kohaku, showing excellent body conformation, rich color and great pattern. These Shinoda bred, Doitsu Kohaku should produce beautiful offspring.
