Dianthus 'Cliffords Select'
This bright red dianthus is very similar to 'Frosty Fire'. The original plant was a single flowering red. Once it was put in tissue culture it came out looking almost identical to 'Frosty Fire'. The flowers are full doubles, semi doubles and singles.

Dianthus barbatus 'Heart Attack'
Dianthus 'Heart Attack' is 15-18" high and sports deep red flowers. Although dianthus barbatus is a biennial, 'Heart Attack' is reliably perennial.  After 3 winters in Michigan it still bloomed. However, the flower stalks in the third year only reached 10" in height. We will be introducing a stunning true red sport of 'Heart Attack' in 2009 named 'Red Romance' PP.

Dianthus 'Red Romance'PPAF
'Red Romance' PPAF is a new dianthus to be introduced by Cliffords in 2009. It is a sport found in a planting of dianthus 'Heart Attack.

'Cynthia Apgar'
'Cynthia Apgar' Is a semi double fower with shades of pink. The plant is extremely compact with blue green foliage. The light pink flowers have a rich raspberry halo. This is Jonathon Apgars first introduction from a hybridization program he started several years ago. Jonathan is manager and more at our Tennessee nursery. Watch for more introductions from him.
